2002 Grulla AQHA Mare

Lizzy is a gorgeous grulla mare, who is also homozygous for the black gene. She has an unbeatable personality, wonderful build, good conformation, and is producing wonderful foals. Lizzy stands 14.2 hands.
Lizzy was injured as a weanling / coming yearling (she cracked her right scapula). With the help of several vets, we decided to put Lizzy on stall rest for 3 months. There were many people that thought we were crazy, didn't think Lizzy would make it, etc, etc. However, Lizzy is here with us today, is pastured 24/7 and will run, buck, and play with the rest of them.
Due to the injury, we never started Lizzy under saddle. Though we have thrown a saddle up on her, and she doesn't mind it at all. And she has no problem carrying foals.
Lizzy has been coat color tested:
Red/Black: EE
Agouti: aa
Cream: N
Dun: D/N *this has not been tested, however we know that she only carries one copy of the dun gene, as only one of her parents are dun factored.
