Emily is a stunning black mare. She is also homozygous black. She currently stands 14.3 hands. She is built very well, nice conformation, and a very willing personality!
We have started saddling Emily (August 2009) and she's doing very well. PIctures are from her 3rd saddling, and 1st time having he cinch tightened all the way/correctly. She stands perfectly for saddling, moves around a bit while cinching up but not bad. Overall...she's doing extremely well! She's just a mare that you want to work with- catches on quickly, remembers what you teach her, and is a sweetheart.
Emily is an athletic mare, and we think she is going to make a fantastic riding horse and broodmare one day.
Emily has been coat color tested:
Red/Black: EE
Agouti: aa
Cream: N
Dun: N *this has not been tested, but she clearly does not carry a dun gene
