MF Bold as Gold
MF Bold as Gold (BG) is a really nice mare. She is built big all the way around, and stands 15.2 hands high. BG is also broke (western) for trail riding. She has a huge hip, wide chest, big doe eyes, and a pretty head. She stands for a rider to get on, walks on nicely, has a nice stop, and backs well. Picks up a trot great when asked- though it is a little bumpy. :)
She is very sensitive- a small cue goes a long way...no need to over pull on the rein or really bump her with your legs to get her to move/change direction/etc. Direct and neck reins well. When I ride her I usually use little to no leg pressure/aids...I use the rein and voice cues (walk on, trot, whoa, back, etc) and she goes along nicely. I ride her in a halter and lead or a d-ring snaffle bit...does fine in both.
BG is owned by our daughter, Meghan.
